Event
Jump Rope For Heart is a fundraising event and physical activity program to help raise awareness of heart disease. The money that is raised goes towards heart disease research and education. The main idea behind the program is to teach school aged children how to be active and stay fit by living a healthy lifestyle.
The American Heart Association began running this program in 1983. Since then, the program has grown and each year 280,000 students worldwide from 1,400 different school participate in the event!
